I'm so ready for Saturday when the Huskers come to town. I can hardly stand it.
I don't know about you, but on Friday I will throw down my walker and bust a move to the Big Red gathering in the Mall of America to hang with a horde of fantastic Husker fans, see Mick Tinglehoff, and rock out to the marvelous Minnesotans for Nebraska pep band. Come to think of it, I'm also good to go for the Minnesotans for Nebraska tailgate at Senser's in Roseville come Saturday morning. Heck yah. I'll be bustin' a move there too!

The Huskers have been playing the pigskin since November 27, 1890. Now I haven't been around to watch ALL of those games, but I've sure been around long enough to watch more Husker football than most people have watched. What I can tell you is that until the Huskers joined the Big-10 this year, it has been an awful long time since they've paid a visit to Minneapolis to play.
You are lucky. We are lucky.
Here is our chance to get out and show some support. It don't matter a lick if you have a ticket to the game on Saturday. If you do, that's great -- I'll be bustin' a move to the Gopher Hole (or whatever they call their stadium) to watch my beloved Huskers. If you don't have a ticket though, so what -- I want to see you at one of the local events so I can tell you all about my love of the Huskers and so that we can talk about the closing scene from Caddyshack.
